"There is no hard and fast rule with how to deal with depression and even psychiatrists do not fully understand it's aetiology or pathogenesis. Trust me people, there is no way to describe the holistic healing power of the empathetic and nurturing support of a person who cares. We may look on any given day as if we are coping well but, after years of living with it, we get very good at hiding it. Please, please do not assume that everything is OK when we appear well. It is at those times that we are most alone and have isolated ourselves and our pain behind a wall of functionality and it is then that we are at the greatest risk. So, be aware of the emotional state of your fellow humans and take seriously their moods as they can be a very clear indicator of potential self harm, self deliverance or even a catastrophic and highly disseminated destructive explosion. Love each other like you have never been hurt and try to feel the pain of your fellow man for, in the end, their pain is all of ours. Peace and blessings to all. Namaste."
